During my recent travels through Western Iceland, I had the opportunity to stay at Sumarhusin Signyjarstothum Villa. Although my stay was only for transit, I found the hotel to be conveniently located near the nearest airport, which was just 117 km away. This made it incredibly convenient for me to catch my next flight and continue my journey without any hassle. The hotel staff were also friendly and accommodating, providing me with all the necessary information about my stay.

While my overall experience at Sumarhusin Signyjarstothum Villa was pleasant, there were a few minor downsides worth mentioning. the host did not send us directions and the numbering of the cottages was quite odd, making it a bit challenging to locate the allocated one.

The location of the hotel was perfect, with stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere. the room we stayed in was cosy and had nice windows that allowed us to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. the bed was comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. the hot tub was a great amenity, although we didn't get the chance to use it.
